About me

My
Story

As an Iraqi-American, navigating cultural landscapes has often been a challenging journey. Growing up, I felt isolated by cultural differences and stereotypes, but I found belonging in unexpected places: video games, cartoons, and art. My first real sense of connection came in sixth grade, bonding with a peer over Minecraft.
Suddenly, the passions I had nurtured in solitude became a bridge to community.
These experiences shaped the way I see design today. Games, cartoons, and media weren’t just entertainment — they were carefully crafted systems of interaction, world-building, and storytelling that invited me in and helped me understand the world around me. They showed me how thoughtful design can create inclusion, spark joy, and give people a sense of identity.
As a UX designer and multimedia artist, I carry that lesson forward. My work blends visual storytelling with human-centered design, creating experiences that feel intuitive, vibrant, and meaningful. From prototyping flows that make navigation effortless to crafting visuals that evoke harmony, my goal is always to reduce barriers and increase connection.
Each project I take on is rooted in the belief that design can be transformative — a tool for empathy, belonging, and beauty. By drawing on pop culture, color, and shared experiences, I aim to create products that not only solve problems, but also empower users to feel seen and understood.
